Bath Maine’s Private Custom Boat Tour Company Located At
The Completely Serviced and Upgraded River Runner slid into the water this morning at 6AM…Life Is Good!!!!!
I have targeted May 19th as the traditional Shakedown Cruise to the Old Goat in Richmond, for a Panini and a Cold Beer!!!!
I like my new Captains Chair, the old one was pretty beat after 6 seasons and 1600 hours. Its a little brighter white than the rest of the leather, if I stay put none will notice. It is a slightly different hight, so i will need to make some adjustments….it never ends!!!!!!
I have replaced the two seat cushions that were sliced and diced by the dorsal fins of a wayward Sturgeon that was obviously bored and decided to jump into the boat one night while at the dock. A pair of eagles absolutely loved this Sturgeon, when I dropped him (or her) off on Winslow Ledges on an outgoing tide.
The Carpets are getting a non-professional Captain’s cleaning so that we can together dirty them up again!!!
My plan for 2012 is to continue toward my goal of being the safest, most interesting maritime sightseeing tour operator in Maine. I operate the most fun, comfortable, safest service in the area. I maintain The River Runner to the highest technical, aesthetic and safety standards, and will continue to renew and upgrade the insurances, licensing and certifications required by law (and some that are not).
I will work with and support the local area & downtown Bath businesses, community and organizations that have helped our little company grow each year. I plan to design and print a booklet of some of the sights of my tours, with matching historical photos, that I can give to my passengers. I am always looking for new ideas, and ways to better our services. Please do not hesitate to call or e-mail me with suggestions.
