DO NOT BE CONCERNED ABOUT A PONTOON BOAT ON THE COAST!!!!
The “River Runner” is a late model (2006) G3 Sun Catcher LX3-25C that is specially designed & equipped for our services. It is a Modified 25′ x 8.5′ Three-Pontoon Boat, that has U-Shaped 23″x 25″ x 25′ Pontoons. These are each individually sealed airtight and is filled with closed cell flotation foam. The River Runner can comfortably seat 15 but is limited to 6 by USCG Commercial regulations. This means there is plenty of room to move about and see the sights from all directions. The River-Runner is very capable of handling 3-4′ seas, but where I operate you very seldom feel any sea swells.  I can also operate in as little as 12″ of water depth, allowing us to go where the larger boats can’t.

The River Runner is completely cleaned after each client, some people cannot believe that the boat is in its 4th season with 1400 hours of service. The boat is powered by a new highly efficient environmentally friendly Yamaha F-150HP 4-Cycle Engine which is super quiet and odorless. Although our normal underway speed is 10-14 knots, we have much extra power if needed with a top speed is 30 knots. For safety we are equipped with VHF & Weather radio, GPS chart-plotting, and a multi purpose depth finder. We are also equipped with all USCG required safety equipment for all commercial services.

The deck includes a Privacy Changing Enclosure with Head (toilet), Sink and Fresh water, plenty of comfortable seating, a sunbather’s deck, and CD. IPOD and MP3 sound system. I keep plenty of coolers and ice and bottled water, and some set up items.  My clients may bring food and beverages of their liking.  River Run Tours cannot supply Alcohol, but clients can bring their own.  Anything goes except illegal drugs, firearms, blueberries, raisins, and chewing gum.

Our deck is level with most dock systems and boat is wheelchair accessible, making boarding very easy for all physical abilities. Those in Wheelchairs must be able to leave wheelchair and sit in a seat, and must be accompanied by an able and qualified assistant that will ride free. Please discuss your special needs with the me when making reservations. All is ultimately at the Captains discretion, and when on board you are my responsibility. For Sun-Shades I have separate Bimini Tops forward and aft that can be used when needed, stowed when not.

This is the perfect boat, for anyone who is “cautious” or “concerned” about going out on the water. Most leave commenting on how incredibly stable and comfortable The River Runner is.
