This spectacular 3 hour journey takes you from Bath Waterfront Park on the Kennebec River under the Sagadahoc and Carlton Bridges, past the Bath Iron Works and Maine Maritime Museum, Doubling Point Lighthouse, the Kennebec Range lights, and Squirrel Point Lighthouse.  Then to Bald Head to turn east and head up the Back River between Arrowsic and Georgetown.  We follow the Back River for beautiful unspoiled and protected scenery through the Shallows (must time the tide) at Mill Point onto the Sasanoa River. We will take a cruise through Hocomock Bay and Lower Hell Gate, between Westport Island and Georgetown, before we venture into Riggs Cove, Robinhood and Goose Rock Passage.  A cruise through Little Sheepscot River will take us to breathtaking Five Islands.  We will return on the Sheepscot River to Middle Mark Island for a visit with a seal colony, then return on the Sasanoa River through Little Hell Gate (tide permitting), Upper Hell Gate and back to Bath.  A camera is highly recommended!
