REFUND POLICY

River Run Tours wants you to enjoy your time on the water. If the weather is miserable or deemed unsafe by the Captain at the time of your tour, you get a full refund. In fact, if you decide to cancel your trip with us for any reason, you are refunded 100% of your deposit with 48 hours prior notice.

When does your season start and end?

The boat season for River Run Tours typically runs from June to mid September. For exact dates, please call or text us at 207.504.2628

Where do I get the boat?

The boat docks are located at Bridge Park, 23 Commercial Street, Bath Maine

Where do I park?

Free on street parking is available on Commercial Street. Limited parking is available under the Sagadahoc Bridge.  Please note the posted times for parking under the Sagadahoc Bridge as Bath Police will ticket for unauthorized use.  Weekdays free after 6pm, weekends free all day.)

What time do I arrive for my tour?

To allow time for parking and a smooth boarding process, we ask that you arrive 15–30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure. Boarding begins 15 minutes before departure, giving your Captain time to welcome you aboard and review all important safety procedures.

Arriving early helps ensure a relaxed start to your tour so you can settle in and enjoy your time on the water.

What is a "Gas Surcharge"?

River Run Tours works hard to keep our pricing fair and accessible for our guests. However, with fuel prices becoming increasingly volatile, we’ve found it necessary to introduce a small surcharge to help offset these rising costs.  We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we strive to provide the best possible experience on the water.

I get motion sickness easily. Do I need to worry about going on a River Run Tour?

Generally speaking, even those who are particularly sensitive to motion sickness do not have an issue. Our tri-hull pontoon boats are known for their stability and comfort.

My friend and I would like to take a tour. How much is it for just the 2 of us?

River Run charges by the boat hour. The cost is the same if you are looking for an outing for 2 people or a family/group of 6.

You have so many tours to offer, which one do you recommend for me?

Give us a call! We're happy to talk with you and plan your River Run Tour!

Do we tip the Captain?

Tipping is not required, but it is always appreciated by our Captains as a thank you for exceptional service. If you feel your experience went above and beyond, gratuities are a wonderful way to recognize their effort in making your trip safe, enjoyable, and memorable.

We have more than 6 people in our group. What do we do?

This is not a problem!!! We can use additional boats/captains to accommodate larger groups! If both of our boats are hired, we can accommodate 12 passengers.

Is there a bathroom on your boat?

The deck of our boats include a privacy enclosure with head (toilet) for emergency use. There is also a public bathroom for use just up the road from our docks at Waterfront Park, 61 Commercial Street, Bath.

I don't see a time table, when do your tours start and end?

Our tours are designed to fit your schedule!  We do our very best to accommodate day and time requests on a first come, first served basis.

Do you take credit cards?

Yes—we accept all major credit cards, as well as Venmo for your convenience.
